Discover innovative varieties for Algeria’s southern region

Join Sakata at the National Saharan Agriculture Fair “Agro Souf”

Game-changing varieties designed to maximise productivity for growers under southern Algeria’s conditions:

  • Chaaba F1: Tomato adapted to greenhouse production in Oued Souf. Extra-large fruits, excellent hot and cold setting, strong vigour, TYLCV(IR) and Cladosporium resistance.
  • Auraucaria F1: Tomato rootstock: first-ever introduction of grafting in the region. Vigorous, resistant to ToBRFV and Fusarium (Fol:2), ideal for long cycles.
  • Turbo F1: Sweet Capia pepper: strong performance in local conditions, thick walls, excellent shelf life, deep red colour.
  • Antinema F1: Pepper rootstock: nematode resistance, strong root system, better temperature tolerance and nutrient absorption.
  • Atid F1: Hot Baklouti pepper: compact plant, excellent fruit setting in cold/hot conditions, high pungency, good shape and resistance package.
  • Eskimo F1: Cauliflower adapted to southern conditions.
