What will you do?
- Develop, design and perform advanced Molecular Biology techniques, like:
NGS Library preparation and analysis (Sequencing, DNA/RNA isolation/extractions and quantification, Gene amplification methods, Quantitative PCR or other relevant technologies
- Manage the reception, tracking and preparation of samples
- Marker optimization, validation and technology transfer
- Sequence analysis and marker design using developed bioinformatic tools
- Analyse and interpret experimental data
- Document accurately and prepare technical reports and QMS protocols
- Communicating of results across teams
- Execution of lab related marker assisted backcross activities
- Stay updated with existing and emerging technologies in Molecular Biology and related field.
- Contact with external service providers

Where will you work?
You will be based at our headquarters in Uchaud (Gard). You will be joining the Molecular Biology team, which consists of 6 people based in France and in South Africa.
This is a full-time permanent contract with flexible working hours.

Do you fit this profile ?
- You hold an engineering degree and/or a Master’s/MSc in molecular biology, genetics, genomics, or a related field. A PhD will also be considered
- You have 3 to 5 years of laboratory experience, specializing in molecular biology and genomics techniques
- You have strong expertise in Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) and demonstrate proactive learning of new technologies
- You are passioned about continuous improvement and problem‑solving
- You possess excellent scientific writing skills
- You have strong organizational and time‑management abilities and are able to meet deadlines.
- You pay great attention to detail while working at a fast pace and managing pressure
- You enjoy teamwork and have strong interpersonal skills.
- You are fluent in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong active‑listening abilities.
- You possess a minimum basic level of proficiency in French
