Working alongside our commercial and planning team, help build the overall cropping programmes for Tenderstem® and Bimi® across S Europe and North Africa territory.
Advising licensees and growers on planning-based decisions, drawing from localized growing experience to ensuring enough product is programmed to support the demand from local sales channels and exported crop volumes.
What will you do?
- Ensure key members of the team have visibility of up-to-date availability so that surplus volumes can be managed effectively and give timely warnings of likely shortfalls of volumes.
- Develop and support new growers across the regions by giving technical agronomy advice for crop management.
- Help continue to develop our existing reporting system where growers report produces sales and plan their crop programming.
- Have responsibility for the flow of seeds into the grower base for the business, leasing with key internal sales colleagues
- Continuous improvement of an overall cropping plan and forecasting tool.
- Trialling innovative agronomy ideas to boost crop productivity on farms.

Where will you work?
You will cover South Europe and North Africa
Home-based or at our station in San Javier (Murcia). Good link to airport for travel.
Do you fit this profile ?
- Previous agronomy work experience. Technical knowledge and knowledge of cropping systems. Crop planning systems. Agricultural chemistry and fertilisers.
- Excellent use of excel and other MS office software. Good level of English, Spanish and preferably some French. Team player. Working in a multi-cultural and cross functional environment.
- Able to communicate clearly. Ability to push through barriers. Able to work in an anticipatory way rather than reactive. Able to work autonomously. Rigorous. Precise. Open minded. Innovative. Personable. Methodical.
