What will you do?
In your position, you will lead the financial consolidation of 10+ subsidiaries across Europe, Middle East and Africa.
- Reporting:
On a regular basis (month, quarterly, year), you will prepare the financial consolidation packages and ensure the reliability of the content of the packages transmitted to the headquarter. You will also be the main interlocutor with the external auditors as well as the head office in Japan. - Consistency
You will guarantee the adherence to statutory rules and guidelines (including IFRS) and incorporates processes such as currency translation, intercompany eliminations, journal entry adjustments, and consolidation software administration.
You will be the administrator of the 2-consolidation software used internally.


Where will you work?
You will be in Uchaud (30), between Nîmes and Montpellier, at Sakata Vegetables EMEA headquarter.
You will interact daily with the entire EMEA region. Therefore, a good level of English is needed!
You will be part of the Finance and Administration Division, reporting directly to the Financial Controller and working in close collaboration with other teams, in Business Control, Subsidiaries’ accounting teams, as well as our mother company in Japan.
Do you fit this profile ?
- You have a master’s degree level qualification, preferably in Finance or Accounting. With at least 5 years’ experience in Financial Consolidation, and ideally, you have already worked in certified accounting.
- You desire to work in an international environment, and you have the capacity to adapt yourself to different cultures.
- You have a professional level of English (reading, writing, and speaking).
- In continuous exchange with the subsidiaries, you demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork skills, as well as accuracy and ability to synthesise.
