You like to develop business in vegetable seed industry? You enjoy interacting with a diversity of clients (growers & distributors) You understand the needs of Polish vegetable growers and to propose the most suitable variety?
What will you do?
As a member of the Polish sales team, you will be responsible for developing Sakata’s business mainly in Southern Poland by promoting and selling our range of new and existing products.
Your responsibilities will be:
Sales + Development Activities:
promote products to existing and new clients (growers, plant risers and distributors);
introducing new varieties by making trails;
organize promotional events, meetings and field days;
support the resolution of customer problems and complaints;
Market Knowledge:
analyse and report market trends, economic developments and sales activity;
organize and participate in relevant meetings and external exhibitions;
Collaboration:
provide support in organizing field demos in other regions;
assist with trial evaluations;


Where will you work?
You will be based in Poland (preferably in the Southern area) and working from your home office.
You will be part of our dynamic Northern Europe team and join a multicultural team, be part of Sales and Product Developers in countries including UK, Germany and Netherlands.
In Poland, you will work closely together with our local Product Developer and the Sales Manager.
To assure the availably and delivery of our seeds to the customer, you will interact with Supply Chain colleagues in France.
Do you fit this profile ?
You have:
- previous sales experience within the vegetable seed industry with good market knowledge of Polish market
- a good knowledge of agronomy, providing support to growers & distributors, while maintaining a commercial perspective.
- the skill set to establish and maintain a good relationship with clients, in particular growers and distributors, and able to use your preference for teamwork to communicate and persuade
- a high level of self-motivation and enthusiasm to drive business and demonstrate good teamwork skills while being able to work autonomously
- a good level of English and you are native in Polish
- a good command of the Office package (particularly Excel).
