You like to develop business in vegetable seed industry? You enjoy interacting with a diversity of clients (growers & distributors)? You understand the needs of Turkish vegetable growers and to propose the fitting variety?

As a member of the Turkish sales team, you will be responsible for developing Sakata’s business in Marmara by promoting and selling our range of new and existing products.
What will you do?
Sales & Development Activities in Marmara:
- promote and sell our new and existing products to existing and prospective growers, plant-raisers and distributors.
- organize promotional events, meetings and field days.
- support the resolution of customer problems and complaints.
- To conduct and follow up trial setups within the region
Market Knowledge:
- analyse and report market trends, economic developments and sales activity.
- organize and participate in relevant meetings and external exhibitions.
Collaboration:
- provide support in organizing field demos in other regions
- assist with trial evaluations.


Where will you work?
You will be based in Türkiye, Marmara region, and home office based.
You will be part of our dynamic Turkish team and join a multicultural company, through Sakata Türkiye, Middle and Far east area.
You will work closely with local Product Developers and your manager, Umut.
To assure the availability and delivery of our seeds to the customer, you will interact with other colleagues from other departments as Supply Chain or Research.
Do you fit this profile ?
You have:
- previous sales experience within the vegetable seed industry with good market knowledge of the Turkish market
- a good knowledge of agronomy, providing support, maintaining a commercial perspective.
- the skillset to establish and maintain a good relationship with clients to communicate and persuade
- a high level of self-motivation and enthusiasm to drive business and demonstrate good teamwork skills
- a good level of English and you are native in Turkish
- a good command of the Office package (particularly Excel).
